Withdrawal threat
NZPA-AAP Adelaide Australia may consider pulling out of tbe World Cup cricket competition in India next month after delays in issuing entry visas to England players who have toured South Africa. The Australian Cricket Board chairman, Malcolm Gray, said Australia was
keeping a close watch on the situation and a decision on whether to withdraw would be made within the next week. Mr Gray said the A.C.B. was disturbed to hear over the last day that up to five England players who had previously been to South Africa had still not been granted visas.
