Sir David on board
Sir Davie Beattie has joined the board ot Hewlett-Packard in New Zealand. Sir David joins Mr Jonathan Crawford as the other external director on the company’s New Zealand board. Sir David and Mr Jonathan Crawford will visit Hewlett-Packard’s headquarters in the United States and will be given a chance to see the
latest developments and trends in computer and related, technologies. . The managing director of Hewlett-Packard in New Zealand, Mr Hans Neilson, said that as chairman of the Beattie Committee, Sir David gained a deep insight into the technical and scientific needs of industry, science and commerce in New Zealand.
