Lambing
Sir,—On Tuesday you pictured a three-day-old lamb and described it as an early arrival. We have at least 300 lambs now — our first was born on June 10 and we are getting an average of about 50 a day now. As there are quite a number of lambs all over the countryside, too, I do not see the one pictured as being an “early arrival.” — Yours, etc., JEREMY DAVEY. Rangiora, July 29, 1987.
