The Mayor of Christchurch, Sir Hamish Hay, draws the lucky marble which determined that Asia and Pacific Travel will be the master sponsor of the Christchurch Football Club’s drive to raise funds to help host a visit by the Blackheath club from England next Easter. The occasion will be Christchurch club’s 125th anniversary, and 200 sponsoring companies participated in the draw for a prize of several advertising concessions. Spinning the wire barrel is the club's publicity and promotions officer, Mr Trevor Thompson.
