Brierley Investments, Ltd, has advised the Stock Exchange it has purchased 857,778 ordinary shares in NZ News, Ltd. The shares representing 3.1 per cent of the issued capital were acquired by private sale and on market transactions for prices ranging from 426 c to 509 c each. The total purchase price was $4,219,090. This increases Brierley Investments’ holding in NZ News, to 59.4 per cent.
