Soccer format change?
NZPA-AP Berne, Switzerland The governing body of European soccer says it may consider introducing a home-and-away system for the finals of the Continent’s two main club tournaments, the Champions Cup and Cupwinners
Cup. Hans Bangerter, the organisation’s secretary general, said it may be time to change the format of the last stage of the twocompetitions, which traditionally have each been played as a one-match final on neutral-ground.
