Canterbury women’s soccer side named
The Canterbury women’s soccer team to contest the national tournament In Palmerston North during the first week of August has been named. Canterbury finished fourth in the 1986 national tournament after losing to Wellington in the semi-finals. The team was named after Canterbury Present beat Canterbury Past, 6-0, last Sunday. Earlier this year it easily retained the South Island title and looks set for a successful national tournament. The team is:—Michele
