Rangers lure Falco
NZPA-Reuter London The Watford striker Mark Falco, yesterday became the seventh English player to join the Scottish champion soccer team Glasgow Rangers, signing in a £300,000 ($810,000) deal. Falco, top scorer at Watford with 16 goals last season, concluded the deal with the player-manager, Graeme Souness, just hours before the team left on a 13-day, six-
match tour of Switzerland and West Germany. But Falco, who links up again with his former Tottenham team-mate, Graham Roberts, was unable to join the 17-strong squad on the flight from Glasgow because he will get married on Saturday. Other Englishmen at Rangers are Terry Butcher, Chris Woods, Colin West, Neil Woods and Jimmy Phillips.
