Final to be worth $40,000
Increased contributions from Dominion Breweries, the New Zealand Racing Authority and New Brighton Trotting Club will result in a $40,000 final of the D.B. Superstar series at Addington Raceway on September 11. Trials on the first night of the New Brighton meeting (September 5) will be worth $6OOO and $lO,OOO respectively, giving the series for four-year-olds a total worth of $56,000. This represents an increase of $13,000 on last year’s series.
