Reuters opens in Chch
Reuters, the world’s leading news and information organisation, has extended its global network to the South Island. It has opened an office in Christchurch, the 145th city in which the organisation has a permanent presence. Reuters has offices in 80 countries and employs more than. 7000 staff. In New Zealand it already has more than 60 staff in Wellington and Auckland. The new Christchurch office, centrally situated in Hereford Street, will provide technical and sales support for the growing number of South Island subscribers to Reuters computerised information services.
