Butterfield no more
Paul Butterfield, the American blues singer and harmonica player, was found dead in his Los Angles apartment last week. Aged 44, Butterfield was the leader of the first big white electric blues band in the United States, and also backed Bob Dylan at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965 when Dylan stunned fans and folk purists by going electric.
