Boy’s arm impaled
PA Auckland A boy who impaled an arm on a wrought iron fence hung for almost an hour before being freed by firemen. The boy, aged 12, fell on to one of the fence’s arrow-sharp spikes, while
climbing over the roof of a Glenfield factory on Tuesday afternoon. Firemen used an airsaw to cut the fence and the boy was taken to hospital where the spike in his forearm was surgically removed.
