Paul Nunan, the sole Canterbury member of the New Zealand powerlifting team which will leave today for a tour bf Australia, proudly displays the trophies his efforts have earned him in the last year. The team of eight men and two women is the. first full New Zealand side in the sport; Nunan and Stephen King (Timaru) are the only South Islanders. The team will compete against Victoria, the strongest power-lifting state, and Australia.
