Heart appeal given $8000
The Belinda Trainor Trust has given $BOOO to an appeal to send a Diamond Harbour woman, Mrs Adrienne Mackwell, to Sydney for a heart transplant. The trust’s grant brings the appeal total to about
$13,000. Another $47,000 is needed to pay the $60,000 deposit for the transplant, which will cost $120,000. Without the transplant, Mrs Mackwell’s life expectancy could be measured in months.
