Schoolgirls’ hockey
PA Oamaru The top seed, Bay of Plenty, led the points table in section one after the final day of section games at the ANZ Bank national schoolgirls’ hockey tournament at Oamaru yesterday. Otago was second, followed by Taranaki. In section two, Canterbury took first place, followed by
Horowhenua, North Shore and Central Otago. Malvern was top in section three, with Auckland second, followed by the third-seed, Manawatu, and North Otago. The second seed, Nelson, was top in section four, with South Canterbury second and the fourth seed, Wellington, third.
