N.Z. junior rugby side
PA Wellington Canterbury and Auckland provide over half the New Zealand under-17 rugby team to play Australia ‘ at Wellington on July 11. Six Cantabrians and five Auckland players have won places in the 21-strong squad for the one-off test. Included among the Canterbury contingent is Chris Cairns, an outstanding young cricketer and son of the former New Zealand international, Lance Cairns. Nine New Zealand unions are represented in the squad, which will be coached by a former All Black wing, Ralph Caulton. The squad is.— Backs; Andre Bell (Hawke’s
