Canty Roller lift
PA Wellington Canterbury Roller Flour Mills, Ltd, yesterday reported a 9.9 per cent lift in profit to $lll,OOO > ($101,000) for the year ended December 31. Extraordinary income of $107,000 (nil) from the sale of land gave the I company a final profit of
$218,000. Turnover was $2,943 million ($2,849 million), ?iving a gross profit of 213,000 ($176,000). Tax took $102,000 ($75,000). A dividend of 20c a share would be paid on June 9. Shares trade exdividend on May 27, the company said.
