Gen. Prop. $40M Greenlane plans

PA Wellington General Properties, Ltd, $4O million office development at Greenlane in Auckland is to include four major office blocks on the old Tappenden Motors, Ltd, site in Great South Road.

The development, to be known as Greenlane South Office Park, will see up to 4000 office workers relocated into almost a million square feet of new office buildings.

Construction has started on the first of the four office towers situated on the corner of Great South Road and Kalmia Street close to both the Penrose and Greenlane motorway

interchanges. As well as the four office towers the development includes parking for 412 cars in a park-like environment, the company said.

Three of the towers will have four levels and one will have 10 levels, all supported by a central core.

The first stage of the development should be finished by October, with the remaining three buildings expected to be built within two years. The buildings will be put up for sale on completion, and negotiations are already under way to sell two.
