With so many optimistic Forecasts flying about, It’s wise to be realistic — Peace isn’t breaking out. It isn’t the Millennium — yet! How Obvious can you get? Peace for a Thousand Years? If the Powers came through with It, No more Wars, nor Fears — What would we Do with It? Get rich, or Creative, Or drunk — or Meditative? Between the Super-Powers, How many Warheads wait? Will it be Theirs, or Ours, Some near or distant Date, With a Stroke of Nuclear Wit — The Millennium? This is It' Suppose They cobble together An Agreement of some Sort, Just so many Missiles, whether The Medium, Long, or Short — The Devil will still have plenty Left (Rev., Chapter 20).'
