Rape claims dropped
Two rape complaints made to the Christchurch police since Friday have faltered after a change of heart by the alleged victims. Both complaints, one made early on Friday and the other early yesterday, are no longer being pursued by the police. Detective Sergeant John Ell said that in both cases the complainants had elected not to take the matter further.
