A designmark was awarded to Profile Buildings, Ltd, for its range of single garages, double garages, garage workshops, double-garage workshops and side-entry garages.
Each type has a range of standard sizes, but any size can be made to suit the customer’s requirements. All garages have timber framing, metal cladding and metal roofing.
The cladding and roofing can be varied to suit requirements, but three types of cladding are offered as standard: Superclad 300 (rollformed Coloursteel weatherboard to the company’s own profile); and 100 mm galvanised weatherboard. There is a choice of either roller doors or Tilta doors. Side doors and windows can be sited to suit. Profile Buildings, Ltd, is
a new name in the garage and small buildings markct. Although Profile is a new company with a new product, the management and staff of the Profile team have had a wealth of experience in their field. For the last 17 years, they have operated the Skyline Garage distributorship in the South Island and have built more than 20,000 garages during that time. They wanted the freedom to innovate new designs and get away from the rather tired look of the products in the existing garage market, says the managing director, Mr Bill Gee. The new Profile range is borne of this conviction.
The range of tubular outdoor furniture available from Garden House Furniture has also been awarded a Designmark. The dining table measures 100 cm by 100 cm by 66cm high, and is made of Icm-thick toughened glass, 2.5 cm zinc-plated steel tube with oxyplast polyester powder coating, and stainless-steel screws with brass heads.
The roomy dining chairs have an elegant appearance, and are made of a similar frame as the table, with Sattlers of Planasol Drayion fabric, and non-absorbent Dacron upholstery. The seat is 7.5 cm thick, and the back is scm. The coffee table frame is 65cm by 65cm by 40cm high, with a 100 cm by 100 cm by Icm thick glass top. Other materials are the same as for the dining table.
A foot stool to match the chairs is also available, and the Sattlers fabric comes in 12 colours.
