All Season Solariums’ aluminium extrusion system is used to fabricate a solarium or conservatory.
It consists of a special aluminium extrusion designed to support the glazing, which features a track for the blind, and slots for shelving or hanging pot plants.
The blinds are of a composite, five-layer construction: fabric/dacron/ aluminium-foil/dacron/ fabric, put together with ultrasonic stitching. They have boltropes on either
side which run in the track of the aluminium. In use, the blinds can function as a sunshade when it is hot, and as
insulation when it is cold, particularly at night. They are operated by hand with a spring-return wind-up, similar to a Holland blind.
