Designmark winners
Mr lan Taylor (right), the managing director of lan D. Taylor, Ltd, confidently leans back on one leg of a sturdy DC2O3 dining chair, which has been awarded the Designmark. The chair is made in two styles, a side chair and a carver. These chairs are fabricated from Customwood fibre board. They are styled after the traditional Regency sabre leg chair, but are modified to take advantage of the specific qualities of Customwood. The chair frame is Customwood finished in either walnut or mahogany veneer, with solidtimber back rails. The top rail is shaped, and may be rope carved or plain.
