Gavaskar to retire
NZPA-AP Ahmedebad India’s batting wonder and former captain, Sunil Gavaskar, who became the world’s first batsman to score 10,000 test runs, will retire from test cricket after the current
series against Pakistan later this month. Gavaskar said yesterday that the fifth and final test against Pakistan opening at Bangalore on March 13 will be his last test match, but he will be available for limited over matches.
