The final events in the seventy-third Countrywide Canterbury senior croquet tournament were played yesterday. Results were:— Men’s singles.— First life: J. Heamshaw 26, J. McNab 24. Second life: J. Spain 26, Heamshaw 18. Handicap singles.— Mrs M. Sellers 26, Mrs B. Gregan (Rangiora) 14; Mrs J. Manson 26, Mrs T. Thompson 19; Mrs Sellars 26, Mrs Thompson 12. Final: Mrs Manson 26, Mrs Sellers 8.
