Foreman’s comeback
NZPA-AFP Sacramento, California A former world heavyweight boxing champion, George Foreman, will fight a compatriot, Lorenzo Boyd, in his comeback bout after an. absence of 10 years from the ring and at the age of 39. Boyd, a former policeman, is 13 years younger than Foreman, and has a record of 18 wins with
seven defeats, one of which was to the W.B.C. heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson. The fight will take place in Sacramento on March 3. ‘ Foreman, the Mexico Olympic champion who became a pastor after quitting the ring, has an awesome record of 45 wins from 47 contests with 42 of his opponents failing to last the distance.
