Man hits rail signal pole
A man aged in his early 20s was critically injured when the motor-cycle he was riding struck a metal railway signal pole at the level-crossing in Sturrocks Road, Redwood, about 6.30 p.m. yesterday. The man was taken by ambulance to Christchurch Hospital with head, leeg, and internal injuries. His name and condition were not available late last evening.
