Three records were bettered and one equalled at the Christchurch Boys’ High School swimming sports held in the school pool recently. The.; records were:— Open 100 yd ‘ freestyle, Michael Ford, 51.85; under 16, _ 100 yd freestyle, 54.2 s (equalling record); under-16, 33>/ 3 yd breaststroke, Kelvin Giddens, 20.55; under-15 33%yd backstroke, Grant Harris, 19.65.
