Floral festival
Sir,—l wish to reply to the poor misguided Roma Tracey and her destructive letter on the floral festival (February 9). Things are not always thrown in anger. Battles are not necessarily violent-, bailing odds or against high seas. As an octogenarian I am personally tired of the battle of life, but I will join in this battle with my flowers: call it my peaceful protest against parochial people. — Yours, etc.,
