The PROHIBITED FIRE SEASON issued pursuant to Section 21 of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977 on February 5, 1987, IS NOW REVOKED. The re-introduction of the RESTRICTED FIRE SEASON will take effect from the date of this notification. It should be noted that the lighting of fires in the open requires a permit at all times. Please discuss your permit requirements with your local Fire Warden. The co-operation shown by residents within the M.N.R.F.D. over the prohibited period has been much appreciated. N. L.
