Addington entertainment
There will be entertainment for all at the Canterbury Park Club’s centenary meeting at Addington Raceway on Friday, with inter-track betting opening at 2.5 p.m. and halfprice drinks for patrons in the Metropolitan Inn and the Members’ clubroom from 2.45 p.m. until 3.45 p.m.
The Kokatahi Band will be moving about the course during the evening, and a busker, Neville Barrie, will entertain the children at the back of the lawn totalisator, where there will be gig and horse rides and other free amusements for children.
The meeting will start with a non-totalisator race at 3.40 p.m., with the first totalisator event half an hour later.
