Blenheim tavern

Sir,—Over the years I have had some large and some small concern with three clubs and four hotels in and around Blenheim. Long enough to have loved the old Post Office building even if it was in the way of the traffic. So I am happy that there are plenty of mature folk in Blenheim who will enjoy the opportunity for relaxation and companionship which are the real business of the tavern designed for Mr Tomlinson in Boyce Street (January 9). Please note my correct name or the Americans may lodge another protest. Whitehouse, indeed. — Yours, etc.,

PETER WHITESIDE. January 10, 1987,
