those questioned thought pets were more important than a job. Nearly half of those who responded put pets above money. . A total of M. per cent said they would prefer to spend ' time with their pets rather than watch television. . More than half of petowners who answered the questionnaire said that given the choice between staying at home with their four-legged friends and socialising with people, they would stay at home.
