Extension
The Department of Trade and Industry in London said it has extended an investigation launched in November into alleged insider dealing because it had recently received new information on the case. A department spokeswoman declined to enlarge on the reasons for the extension of the probe into alleged trading abuses by Geoffrey Collier, who resigned in November as a director of the securities arm of merchant bankers Morgan Grenfell Group pic.
