LSE chairman
Sir Nicholas Goodison, aged 52, who played a key part in paving the way for Britain’s liberalised financial markets, has been named chairman of the recently expanded London Stock Exchange. He has seen the exchange, once a cosy club made up entirely of British firms, expand into a leading international forum since he was first elected LSE chairman in 1976.
