Murdoch’s new offer favoured
NZPA-AAP Melbourne J The board of the Herald and Weekly Times has recommended the latest offer by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation of $l5 for each of the group’s shares. A statement released last evening said that, the HWT directors had considered the revised offer and proposed to recommend to shareholders that they accept it, 5 in the absence of a more attractive offer.
