Language training for guides

PA Wellington Tourist guides will be. trained in foreign languages'to help cope with the thousands of non-Eng-lish speaking visitors to New Zealand. The Minister of Tourism, Mr Moore, announced that a course to train guides would be held in April or early May. A certificate would be given to those completing the course. The new course is designed to help New Zealand’s army of guides cope with an increasing influx of non-En- ; glishspeaking tourists.
