In Auckland, Hamish Pepper, aged 15, from Murrays Bay, added some spice to the Tauranga Cup P-class yachting competition by winning both of yesterday’s races to breeze into the overall lead. In winds gusting up to 17 knots, Pepper fought to the front of the fleet in both races and finished ahead of the in-form Ramon Davies and early leader, . Simon Patchett These two swapped places behind Pepper in the afternoon race but could not peg him back.
