Aid call
International charity organisations have urged Western Governments to lift a ban on development aid to Kampuchea, saying the country badly needs cash to fight poverty. Britain’s Oxfam and eight other voluntary aid agencies said in a joint statement that the West was deliberately denying aid to the country because of its Marxist ideology. — London.
