Study grant extended
Polytechnic students enrolled in courses of less than a year will be eligible for the tertiary assistance grant next year. Previously students had to be enrolled in courses of at least one year before they received the grant. Now the courses must be at least 12 weeks long. The grant has also been extended to cover students at Telford and Flock House Farm Training Institutes, Taratahi Agricultural Training Centre and the Schools of Daace and Drama.
