Greyhounds Uli Uli most likely in Auckland Cup

Uli Uli should continue his dominance of feature races in the north when he contests the D.B. Auckland Cup, the second T.A.B. trifecta event at the Auckland Greyhound Racing Club’s meeting at the Claudelands Showgrounds today. The talented black dog has remained unbeaten since returning from the New Zealand Championship meeting in Christchurch in early November, and with the added advantage of drawing box No. 1 should be the anchor for trifecta investors.

Spick and Span has been racing well in recent outings and must be a place chance, while the same can be said for Shiny Delight which should handle the rise in class.

The day’s other feature, the Joseph Kuhtze New Zealand Derby, second T.A.B. treble event, should provide a good contest with the likely favourite, Personal Call, meeting the Canterbury owned and trained Club Captain and the consistent Price Required.
