Building centre approved
The Riccarton Borough Council has approved plans for a building centre to be built in Mandeville Street.
The centre will be built on properties at 37, 39 and 43 Mandeville Street, all occupied by houses. The front of the centre will have a showroom for displaying building materials, with office space upstairs. Limited outdoor displays will be permitted at the rear of the property.
The developer, Cooper Developments, said the centre would be tastefully landscaped and ample offstreet parking would be provided.
