Lincoln degree in finance
Lincoln College will offer next year a new degree in financial management. Professor Roger Juchau, of the finance and accounting department, said the new degree was a response to the shortage of qualified graduates in the area. The three-year bachelor of commerce degree, specialising in financial management, will include subjects such as accounting, economics, computing, law, finance, taxation, and professional accounting.
Students will be expected to complete 24 weeks of work experience, and both commercial and technical subjects will be compulsory in the first year.
