NELSON POLYTECHNIC 00 YOU WANT TO TRAIN AS A BEEKEEPER NELSON POLYTECHNIC WISHES to determine the interest in beekeeping in the Nelson Marlborough West Coast region We are interested in beginning a new ACCESS course in 1987 and need to have an accurate assessment of the. interest in this type of training. DURATION: Initially 12 weeks COURSE AIMS: To initially provide introductory training in beekeeping, woodworking, vehicle maintenance and business management for people wishing to enter the beekeeping industry. To develop communication, personal and work skills which will enhance employment opportunities in the beekeeping industry. TUTORS: Will include tutors qualified in the above areas as well as people working in the industry within the above 3 regions. RECOGNITION: This course is being offered with the approval of the National Beekeepers Association of New Zealand. ELIGIBILITY: Anyone who registers for employment with the Department of Labour.
