Woman claws attacker
PA Auckland The Auckland police are looking for a badly scratched youth who was clawed on the face by a woman tourist he indecently assaulted in St Heliers. The Englishwoman, aged 24 used her fingernails to fight off the youth, after being confronted in a public toilet.
The youth obviously in pain from gouges down both cheeks, loosened his grip, allowing the woman to escape. A police spokesman said the tourist, who has been in New Zealand 11 days, was grabbed when she tried to leave one of the toilet cubicles. She was pushed back inside and indecently assaulted.
