Restaurants and smoking
Sir,—l hope the manager of the Gardens Restaurant saw and read Mr Clive Trotman’s letter (November 15) and has the courage to request patrons to refrain from smoking in the restaurant (appropriate signs are freely available from the Health Department and the Cancer Society). Friends and myself frequent the restaurant quite a lot and this is the only fault we can find — other diners’ smoke wafting around our food.
