TWO OF THE longest-serving members of the Canterbury Football Association’s management committee, Doug Orange and Maurice McKenzie received plaques last week in recognition of their efforts for soccer in the province. Both were presented with the President’s award at the association’s awards function at English Park by the chairman of the C.F.A., Mr David Cox. Mr Orange is a former chairman of the association, and Mr McKenzie has for many years been treasurer. They become the second and third men to receive the honour, which was introduced last year as tangible acknowledgement for service to the code in Canterbury.
