Vegetarian diet
Sir,—Natalie Taylor has her facts wrong (October 8). The koala, the opossum, the rabbit, the hare and a number of monkeys have claws, and are herbivorous. The giant panda also has sharp front teeth, a feature found only in meat-eaters, according to your correspondent. Man also has claws. We call them fingernails.—Yours, etc., D. E. OAKLEY.
