C 64 mouse

Commodore is offering a mouse with the 64C version of its Commodore 64 series computer. The “graphics environment operating system,” as Commodore calls it, comes with software with the usual pull-down menus.

Commodore Computers says the 64C is the first microcomputer under $6OO to offer a “point and click” icon interface. A program disk, containing the operating system and applications, is included with the 64C disk drive pack, and can be bought separately' for $139.95 by present C 64

owners. The restyled 64C resembles the . sloped design of the Cl 28. Otherwise, the 64C has the same features as the 64 and runs all 64 software. The 64C diskette includes a word processor, a paint-design program, and desktop utilities along the lines of the PC’s Sidekick: calculator, address book, calendar, and alarm. For the Christmas market, Commodore is packaging the 64C in a family pack. It will include, several games and a software release: an America’s Cup game.
