Sir Robin Cooke to stand in
PA Wellington The President of the Court of Appeal, Sir Robin Cooke, was yesterday sworn in as Administrator of the Government. He will carry out the functions and duties of the Governor-General for the next six days. Sir Robin became administrator in the absence of both the Governor-Gen-eral, Sir Paul Reeves, and the Chief Justice, Sir Ronald Davison, who normally assumes .that' role. Sir Paul is in Sydney on a private visit until October 16, while Sir Ronald is on sabbatical leave.
